Ghvino Forum 2025
June 23 @ 3:00 pm – June 24 @ 7:30 pm PDT
We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 Ghvino Forum will come to the Bay Area on June 23–24. This yearly, two-day event is dedicated to exploring the cultural, economic, and global significance of Georgian wine.
Founded in 2018 by the America Georgia Business Council, the Ghvino Forum is a celebration of 8,000 years of continuous winemaking tradition in Georgia. From its ancient Qvevri methods to modern viticulture, Georgian wine represents a unique blend of heritage and innovation. The Forum brings together wine professionals, scholars, and entrepreneurs to discuss how this legacy continues to shape industry, culture, and global markets.
This year’s Forum will explore the developmental impact of Georgia’s wine industry, its expanding presence in U.S. markets, and the vital role of cultural heritage, innovation, and traceability in the evolving global wine economy. The program will feature engaging conversations and insights from prominent leaders, including Mamuka Tsereteli, President of the America-Georgia Business Council; Chris Schlueter, Co-Founder and Owner of Ghvinos Wine Group, LLC; and Noel Brockett, President of the Georgian House of Greater Washington, LLC.
The program concludes with a curated public wine tasting and Georgian food pairing, offering a unique opportunity to experience the distinct character of Georgian wines and cuisine.
