Unique Opportunity to Dine Alongside Top Oncology Experts

June 9, 2025, Napa, CA – The V Foundation for Cancer Research has announced its annual Dinner with the Docs will be held on Thursday, July 31st, as part of the V Foundation for Cancer Research Wine Celebration weekend in the Napa Valley. A unique hallmark of the Wine Celebration, Dinner with the Docs will be held at the historic Inglenook Winery in Rutherford, Napa Valley. Guests will enjoy a multi-course dinner under the stars paired with a special selection of Inglenook wines. 100% of event proceeds from the Wine Celebration weekend will benefit game-changing cancer research through the V Foundation.
Dinner with the Docs offers an intimate setting to meet members of the V Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC). The SAC is comprised of expert oncology clinicians and research scientists from top cancer centers who oversee the V Foundation’s rigorous grant selection process. Collectively, they’ve helped the V Foundation award nearly $400 million in research grants, leading to breakthrough discoveries and improved treatment options across all cancer types. These outstanding leaders will be speaking with guests throughout the evening about advancements in cancer research and addressing questions across a range of prominent topics in the field.
“Dinner with the Docs is one of the most meaningful moments of our Wine Celebration weekend,” said Susanna Greer, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer at the V Foundation. “It’s a rare and powerful opportunity for guests to sit side-by-side with the scientists and clinicians driving today’s most promising cancer breakthroughs. These conversations are personal, hopeful, and deeply human, reminding us all why funding cancer research is so urgent and impactful.”
This special event is part of the V Foundation Wine Celebration weekend, and passes are still available for single-day or full weekend packages. The V Foundation Wine Celebration is proudly presented by John Anthony Family Wines. To register or learn more, visit v.org/wine.
