Finalists Announced in Star Wine List of the Year Switzerland 2025

April 24, 2025 — Star Wine List of the Year Switzerland 2025 will be held in Zurich on 19 May – the media company’s third celebration of Swiss wine lists and its first physical, designated event in the country. The esteemed panel of judges has just announced the competition’s finalists.

Star Wine List of the Year is an awards circuit honouring the great wine lists in the world, often referred to as the Michelin Guide for wine. Following a digital event for Switzerland in 2021 and a combined Austria-Germany-Switzerland celebration in 2024, the 2025 ceremony will be hosted in Zürich by Star Wine List’s Founder and Publisher, Krister Bengtsson.

“We can’t wait to meet and celebrate with the teams from the top restaurants and wine bars from around Switzerland,” says Bengtsson. “And to do it in Switzerland for the first time. It is quite telling that the finalists are from all over the country – Switzerland is a nation of great gastronomy, wines and hospitality.”

Gold Stars will be presented to winners in nine categories, and each of these winners will qualify for the Star Wine List of the Year International Final, to be held in Vienna in June 2025.
