First membership program of its kind in Shafer’s near 50-year history
June 9, 2025, Napa Valley, California — Shafer Vineyards, one of Napa Valley’s most renowned historic wineries, is proud to announce the launch of Shafer Membership, a new program that provides members with a suite of exclusive benefits, including preferred member pricing, complimentary tastings, access to exclusive and library wines, as well as priority access to the Hillside Select Allocation List.

This is the first membership program of its kind in Shafer’s near 50-year history.
For decades, Shafer has offered access to its wines through two highly sought-after mailing lists: The Napa Valley List and the Hillside Select Allocation List. Both of these existing programs will remain available for those who prefer them.
In the coming months Shafer will also roll out The Hillside Select Club, a new invitation-only private membership option, available to top members of the Hillside Select Allocation List.
