Six engaging wine experiences suitable for professionals, wine enthusiasts, and connoisseurs in the enchanting historical center of Montepulciano
June 4, 2025 (Montepulciano, Siena) — In the heart of the rolling Tuscan hills, where the landscape unfold with rows of vines, solitary cypress trees, and ancient stone farmhouses, lies Talosa, a wine estate that embodies the history, beauty, and passion of Montepulciano. Here, the union of nature and tradition gives life to authentic experiences, designed for those who wish to immerse themselves in the purest essence of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

Talosa has always placed hospitality at the core of its philosophy, valuing the territory and creating wine tourism itineraries in harmony with its wonderful surroundings. This commitment led to the inauguration of the Historic Cellar, after meticulous renovation work carried out in collaboration with the Belle Arti. In this evocative underground space, among oak barrels and centuries-old brick vaults, the wine rests and matures, preserving the soul of Montepulciano.
The tasting room, created from a former storage area, has been transformed into a welcoming and refined environment, ideal for an immersive sensory experience. Even more unique is the underground tasting room, located 15 meters below ground level and accessible via a staircase that starts directly from the Historic Cellar. Once an air-raid shelter, it is now a suggestive space carved into the rock, perfect for exciting and engaging wine experiences.
In 2019, Talosa’s tradition of hospitality was enriched with the restoration of Villa Talosa, an elegant country residence nestled among the vineyards, just two kilometers from the historic center of Montepulciano. The villa represents an oasis of relaxation for lovers of wine and Tuscan beauty, offering an exclusive stay with a panoramic swimming pool, hot tub, and refined interiors for a maximum of eight guests. Exclusively for villa guests, Talosa offers a guided tour to discover the entire production cycle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
To experience a unique immersion into the world of wine, Talosa also offers its visitors a journey into taste, through a wide range of Wine Experience itineraries, each designed to satisfy the needs of curious individuals, enthusiasts, and true connoisseurs.

Situated in a privileged position, this vineyard expresses all the strength of tradition and the deep connection with the terroir. La Pieve Le Grazie is a wine of rare elegance, combining complexity, balance, and an intense aromatic expression: a taste that becomes an emotion, a hymn to the history and future of Vino Nobile.

About Talosa
Founded in 1972 by the Jacorossi family, Talosa was one of the first companies to believe in the potential of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, working with determination to raise its quality profile. Today, the company extends over 33 hectares of organic vineyards in the most suitable area of the denomination, in the locality of Pietrose, at an altitude between 330 and 400 meters, where the stony soil and optimal exposure ensure structure, elegance, and great longevity for the wines. The beating heart of the winery is the historic aging cellar, located in the center of Montepulciano, in the underground spaces of Palazzo Tarugi and Palazzo Sinatti, 16th-century Renaissance buildings that house the large barrels where Vino Nobile rests and refines. This international recognition and adherence to the Pievi project confirm Talosa’s commitment to producing authentic, identity-driven wines capable of telling the richness of the territory through every glass.
