Presqu’ile Winery Expands Distribution Footprint Through Strategic Partnership with Serendipity Wines in Texas

Santa Maria, CA — June 3, 2025 — Presqu’ile Winery, a family-owned, estate-focused producer of cool-climate wines from Santa Barbara County, has announced a new distribution partnership with Serendipity Wines in Texas.

This partnership is part of a broader strategic initiative to expand Presqu’ile’s national footprint through values-aligned wholesale relationships. The Texas market represents a significant area of opportunity, with robust demand for high-quality, terroir-driven wines across both on- and off-premise channels.

“Serendipity Wines brings a track record of excellence and deep market insight, especially with curated wine programs and chef-driven restaurants,” said Matt Murphy, second-generation vintner and President of Presqu’ile Winery. “We’re confident in their ability to help us grow thoughtfully and sustainably in one of the country’s most exciting wine markets.”

Presqu’ile’s current portfolio includes two primary tiers:

  • The Santa Barbara County Series: fresh, food-friendly wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah—crafted for everyday elegance and broad appeal.
  • The Estate Series: limited-production, single-vineyard expressions from the family’s sustainably farmed estate in Santa Maria Valley, as well as other storied sites throughout the Santa Maria Valley, highlighting varietal precision and site character.

Presqu’ile’s winemaking is led by Dieter Cronje, with guidance from Jeremy Seysses of the renowned Burgundy domaine, Domaine Dujac. Together, they shape a style that bridges Old World restraint and New World vibrancy.

“Texas is an ideal growth market for Presqu’ile,” added Murphy. “The independent retail and hospitality scenes are thriving, and there’s a strong appreciation for thoughtful wines and storytelling.”
