Wines of Chile Presents “Chile Pacífico,” a Celebration of the Country’s Coastal Excellence

This exclusive trade event will showcase Chile’s finest wines, spirits, and seafood—each shaped by the Southern Pacific Ocean—on June 10 at Home Studios Inc. Registration is available here.

New York City, New York, May 19, 2025 — Wines of Chile, with the support of the trade commission ProChile and Marca Chile, is excited to invite trade professionals to dive into the extraordinary at “Chile Pacífico,” an exclusive showcase of the country’s coastal treasures. The main event will take place on June 10 from 3 PM to 6 PM at Home Studios Inc., 873 Broadway, New York, following the Descorchados tasting hosted by renowned Chilean wine journalist Patricio Tapia.

This immersive afternoon promises a vibrant celebration of Chile’s rich coastal identity, uniting 20 premier wineries in a walk-around tasting, alongside six artisanal pisco producers from PiscoChile, Andes Mountain Water, and a showcase of exceptional seafood. Highlights include a dedicated coastal wine bar, a sashimi bar featuring ARKA’s Antarctic salmon served in its purest form, and a tasting of Kenoz’s caviar, offering guests a rare opportunity to savor the purity of Chile’s southern waters.

Exclusively for chefs and seafood buyers, a live cooking demonstration featuring Antarctic salmon will be held at 11:00 AM on the same day, preceding the main event. This demonstration will showcase elevated preparations of this premium product paired with Chile’s cool-climate wines (by invitation only).

“Chile Pacífico is more than a tasting. It’s a journey through the landscapes and flavors that make Chilean coastal wines so distinct,” said Julio Alonso, Executive Director of Wines of Chile North America. “From the cool, Humboldt-influenced vineyards to the southern terroirs swayed by the Antarctic, every pour and plate tells the story of Chile’s Pacific edge—where the ocean shapes culture, cuisine, and craftsmanship.”

Featured wineries include: Aquitania, Carmen, Casa Marín, Casa Silva, Casas del Bosque, Cono Sur, De Martino, Escudo Rojo, Garcés Silva, Invina, JPMartin, Leyda Winery, Los Vascos, Luis Felipe Edwards, Matetic, Miguel Torres, Montes, Santa Rita, Tabalí, and Ventisquero.

The event will also feature insights into Chile’s dynamic tourism sector, presented by the Chilean Tourism Board. Attendees can discover new travel opportunities, wine routes, and culinary destinations throughout the country’s breathtaking coastal and wine-producing regions.

“Interest in Chilean coastal wines has reached new heights,” Alonso added. “The industry is recognizing what makes our country one of the most dynamic winemaking regions in the world: the balance of climate, geography, and innovation.”
