Star Wine List, often called the Michelin guide for the wine world, is bringing its international wine list competition to Florida for the very first time. The judges have now announced the finalists, who will be invited to the awards ceremony on 8 May at Vinexpo America. They include COTE Miami and Michael’s Genuine in the Design District, Casa Tua in Miami Beach, and Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa.
April 10, 2025 — The Star Wine List of the Year awards celebrate the greatest wine lists in the world – and the teams behind them. At Star Wine List of the Year Florida, Gold Stars will be awarded in nine categories, with winners in the international categories qualifying for the Star Wine List of the Year International Final, in June.

The jury for Star Wine List of the Year New York 2025 comprises four leading experts from the world of wine: sommeliers Salvatore Castano (Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa 2021), Pascaline Lepeltier (Best Sommelier of France 2018) and Kathrine Larsen-Robert (Master Sommelier and Head of Wine, Europe at 67 Pall Mall in London); along with Doug Frost, who is both a Master Sommelier and Master of Wine.
“We are very excited to come to Florida, and Miami specifically, with our wine list awards for the first time,” says Krister Bengtsson, Star Wine List’s Founder and Publisher. “This is a place that is buzzing with energy and we look forward to celebrating with the sommelier teams in May. Cheers!”
