Try Out the Interactive Tasting Table at the Wine Sales Symposium

Corrales, New Mexico — April 3, 2025—Ideum is bringing the Tasting Table and Wine Experience to the Wine Sales Symposium on May 14th, 2025. The Sales Symposium will take place at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country in Santa Rosa, California. The event is focused on the best practices for wineries to grow their sales and profits, and visitors will have the opportunity to try out the Tasting Table in person.

Revolutionize your tasting room with the Tasting Table

The Tasting Table is a touchscreen table specifically designed for tasting rooms and wine bars. Bundled with interactive wine-tasting software, it allows participants to explore and taste wine through guided tasting tips and an interactive aroma wheel. Guests’ tasting notes are saved, allowing wineries to crowdsource the aromas and flavors guests taste in their wines.

The Tasting Table is a revolutionary way to taste wine. It deepens the tasting experience, fosters conversation between guests, and adds an interactive element to a tasting room. All generations enjoy the table and it is a great tool to bring younger guests into the tasting room. A winemaker or sommelier can mediate the experience, or guests can interact at their own pace.

The Tasting Table and Wine Experience are also great tools for boosting sales. Jennie Thornton, the wine educator at the New Mexico Wine Studio, shares that guests often buy 2-3 bottles of wine extra on top of what they are already purchasing when they interact with the Tasting Table installed in the New Mexico Wine Association’s tasting room in Albuquerque, NM.

Try out the Tasting Table with Saini Vineyards

At the Wine Sales Symposium, visiting wineries can try out the Tasting Table and Wine Experience. Ideum will host tastings with wines from Saini Vineyards, a local Sonoma County winery. At the Symposium, visitors will experience what it’s like to interact with the table. We will also share more information about the Content Management System (CMS), which allows Tasting Table owners to create tastings with their wines and add background information about their winery.

Developed by exhibit design firm Ideum, the Tasting Table brings a unique visitor-centric interactive to the tasting room. Ideum has 25 years of experience in designing these types of interactives. They have worked with many of the major museums in the country, and have created custom experiences that center around taste for MSC Cruiseships, JCB Wines, and Starbucks.
