Driven by a steadfast commitment to sustainability and to making a positive impact, the distillery proudly holds B Corp Certification™. Impressed by the taste of Dutch Barn Vodka and its unwavering sustainability efforts, comedian and actor Ricky Gervais became a co-owner of the distillery in November 2023.

Dutch Barn Vodka was established in 2020 by Chris Fraser, Founder and Chair of Ellers Farm Distillery, who was inspired by apples laying in an ancient Yorkshire orchard. Determined to craft a premium, sustainable vodka, Fraser turned to locally sourced apples, which are hand-pressed into cider before being distilled through 70 plates for impeccable purity and smoothness.
With sustainability at the heart of Dutch Barn Vodka, the brand’s distinctive, lightweight brown bottle is label-free and made from 68% recycled glass. Reflecting the standards and values of the B Corp certification for society and the environment, Ellers Farm Distillery is 20% employee-owned and committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2040. Taking a regenerative approach, the distillery has also enriched local biodiversity, planting 361 trees from 28 different varieties in its own orchards.
